The Worldwound

The Worldwound is a region of the world, created in the early 4600's when the witch Areelu Vorlesh opened a rift to the Abyssal plane. In the century that followed, four failed crusades had attempted to cleanse the region.

In the year 4733, after the Demonic Invasion of Kenabres and the destruction of the Wardstone holding the demons back, the Fifth Crusade was called to finally cleanse the region.
