Sword of Valor

The Sword of Valor is a crimson banner, carried by Iomedae herself before her ascension to Godhood. Used during the Shining Crusade against the lich known as the Whispering Tyrant.

The banner has powerful anti-demonic abilities. When the banner is mounted on a wall or pole in a visible, public place, it creates a 10 mile area that bars all evil Outsiders, as well as anyone worshipping such a being, from using Teleportation magic into or out of the area. Additionally, any evil Outsiders or worshippers inside the area is weakened, making it easier to cause harm to them. Finally, a worshipper of Iomedae can, if the banner or its surroundings is threatened by an evil Outsider or worshipper, summon one of Iomedaes Planetars for protection.
